Achraf Hakimi is a professional football player from Morocco who currently plays as a right-back for Paris Saint-Germain and the Moroccan national team. He was born on November 4, 1998, in Madrid, Spain, and began his youth career with Real Madrid.
Hakimi made his professional debut for Real Madrid in 2017 and was subsequently loaned out to Borussia Dortmund for two seasons, where he became a key player and established himself as one of the best young full-backs in Europe. In July 2020, he signed for Inter Milan for a reported fee of €40 million.
During his time at Borussia Dortmund, Hakimi won the DFL-Supercup in 2019 and was named the Bundesliga Rookie of the Season. He also helped the team reach the UEFA Champions League round of 16 in both of his seasons with the club.
Hakimi has represented the Moroccan national team since 2016 and has scored four goals in 34 appearances. He was a member of the team that reached the round of 16 at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
