In Apex Legends, players form teams of three and compete against other teams in matches that take place on a large map. The last team standing wins the match. Each player chooses from a variety of unique characters, or “Legends,” each with their own special abilities and attributes.

Apex Legends has become a popular game among the battle royale genre due to its fast-paced gameplay, unique character abilities, and teamwork-oriented gameplay. The game also features a variety of weapons, attachments, and equipment that players can use to gain an advantage in combat. Additionally, the game has a constantly evolving meta and a regular stream of new content updates to keep players engaged.

What’s coming in the Apex Legends Season 16 update?

For starters, Apex Legends Season 16 is breaking the trend of a typical major patch by not including a new Legend. Respawn devs have revealed that this decision was made in order to make a shift from the “predictable” updates and instead focus on refining the abilities of the legends they already have on the roster.

Despite no new face in the Outlands, the powerful Nemesis AR weapon will be arriving on the ground to rival the Flatline and R-301. Not only that, a fresh 6v6 Team Deathmatch game mode is being added that tasks teams with racking up 30 kills to win a round.

Season 16 of Apex Legends arrives on February 14.

Another huge addition is the Firing Range overhaul, which aims to improve the arena by adding infinite ammo, dynamic stats, and better dummy targets.

Finally, the fan-favorite Mirage Voyage POI will also be making a return but this time, it’s going to be on every map. This means if you’re looking for a chaotic start and plenty of high-tier loot, it may be the best place for you to land.

So, there you have it, that’s exactly when Season 16 starts in Apex Legends, and all the new content you can expect to arrive on February 14, 2023.
